• Intelligent transmissions for hybrid engines, engine-gearbox connections (2 and 3 cylinder engines)

2 - Combustion, after-treatment and fuels
• Combustion systems (two-stroke , homogeneous combustion….)
• Injection Systems

3 - Management and recovery of thermal energy
• Energy recovery: thermoelectricity, turbo generator, Rankine cycle, Stirling engine…
• Thermal auxiliaries: Heating pump, storage systems, exchangers…
• Thermo management, thermal distribution: Engine / After-treatment / Passenger Compartment
4 - Powertrain Digital Engineering
• Understanding and Modelling physical and chemical phenomena (0D, 1D, 3D…)
• Powertrain design tools and methodologies (components…)
• Definition and design of test and measuring methods and innovatory methodologies
• Experimental Approvals
• Engine tuning and checking
• Coupling of models with measurements (HIL)
