The role of each of Mov’eo’s Regional Committees is to create a shared vision, to encourage, devise and propose cooperative coordination and development projects aimed at reinforcing the attractiveness of these regions and generating a positive impact on employment (creating and maintaining jobs).
The Regional Committees also monitor the projects which have been selected and launched. They also ensure the cluster’s regional communication and marketing via encounters with industrial and research players, round tables and technological day conferences.
The Committees are responsible for detecting potential players, businesses (in particular SMEs) and laboratories, likely to integrate and contribute to innovative projects within the framework of the cluster’s Strategic Fields of Activities.
Finally, part of the Regional Committees’ activity also involves capitalising regional knowledge and know-how within the scope of Mov’eo’s mission, hence generating a genuine reservoir of skills for research and innovation projects.

Within the cluster’s three regions, the motor industry represents over 200,000 jobs within approximately 700 establishments. The two French manufacturers, Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroën are firmly established within these regions, employing over 80,000 people.
30,000 engineers and technicians are directly involved in Mov’eo’s secteurs of activity throughout "Lower Normandie", "Higher Normandie" and "Paris Region ".
